Just
Add Water Layout
This
theme set was sooo much fun to work with – so many different
possibilities and not just for boys (though I will admit with
my male dominated household this was easy to use up!). This
layout was fun and quicker than it looks.

1 1/2" and 1 1/4" Circle Punches

Colorbox Fluid Chalk - Charcoal
Directions:
1.
Place a large dinner plate (high tech I know!) on white cardstock
- covering about 75% of the space. Trace an arc in pencil
with the edge of the plate.
2.
Cut white cardstock along the arc line you just made. Adhere
white cardstock onto orange "Metropolis" patterned
paper. (I saved about a 2x12 inch strip of this paper for
punching out circles).
3.
Punch a series of 1 1/2' and 1 1/4" circles out of the
different patterned papers. I punched out 9 - 1 1/4' circles,
and 5 - 1 1/2" circles. Ink edges of circles with fluid
chalk.
4.
Adhere circles to arc line (see photo).
5.
Mat a 5x7 photo with a 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" piece of
green cardstock. Ink edges.
6.
Adhere matted photo centered on white cardstock part of layout.
7.
Sand and ink the chipboard pieces you are using. Trim two
1 1/2" pieces of green polka dot ribbon. Make a "V"
shape and secure with a glue dot. Trim ends. Adhere to "Just
Add Water" chipboard piece.
8.
Adhere chipboard to layout as shown.
9.
Sand and ink arrows. Adhere to layout as shown.
10.
Finish layout by inking outer edges of layout and adding orange
chipboard photo corners (that have been inked and sanded)
to left side of layout.
